Desktop tip:
If you want to add a sense of depth to your desktop, and you like changing your wallpaper too, then try this.
If you take the image file you want as your desktop (even a photo you’ve taken), and load it into your photo editor of choice, Photoshop or The GIMP, then give the image a Gaussian Blur.
This will give the effect of making the picture look out of focus. On your desktop, this will mean that all the windows you’re working on will be crisp like they usually are, but your background will seem further away
