Here’s a great little song I heard about on the FM radio (yes I went old-school), that was written about Christmas way back in 1962, by someone called Paddy Roberts. Listen to the lyrics and see how it matches up the insanity of our contemporary consumer driven Christmas time.
Comments are more than welcome!

Earth Album
If you are a regular Flickr user, you’ll know you can Geo-Tag
your photos. A site called Earth Album makes finding photos by location so much easier by mashing up Flickr’s location data with Google Maps. Simply search for a location, drag and zoom with your cursor, then click on any point in the map to see a selection of photos taken on or near that point!

Mobile Map Applications
I recently wrote an article in which I compared Nokia’s Ovi Maps application to Google’s mobile Google Maps application, for Series 60 phones. I’m pleased to say it’s just been published on Allaboutsymbian.com.
When it comes to S60, we are fortunate to have a choice of which mapping application we use, but which is best? Is it Ovi Maps (née Nokia Maps), with its worldwide pre-loaded maps, voice navigation and PC integration, or is it Google Maps with the power of Google search, high-res satellite imagery and the perfect price? David Gilson has been testing both, and here reports on his findings.

As mentioned previously on my blog, I use a Nokia E55, which uses Nokia’s largest battery, the BP-4L. Now, if phone batteries don’t float your boat, then stop reading now. But wait, do you have a Nokia phone? Is it perhaps the E90, E71, E52, E55, N97, E72? Then if you are using any of those, would you like even more battery life? Well in that case, maybe batteries aren’t such a boring subject!
I’ve been testing an extended version of the BP-4L, sent to me for review from MobileFun.co.uk.
