If you didn’t know, I don’t write this site by hand ;-) I have open source software on my webserver called WordPress. Recently the latest version, 2.7, of WordPress was released, and along with it are some fantastic new features.

I upgraded this site, and foreverfifteen.com (which is a site I help out with), and also installed it as-new for my good friend Rachael Eldritch-Böersen, on tweeduizendzes.nl. Manually upgrading was rather intimidating, seeing as I had not done it before, although it seems that it was the first and last time I’d need to do it, because with the advent of WordPress 2.7, it can no upgrade itself when new versions are released.

Anyway, without further ado, you can sit back and releax and watch a video to tell you all about WordPress 2.7.
